I’ll be the first to admit that in the depths of winter I am more than happy curled up on the couch, enjoying the warmth of the fire with a hot drink in hand. Venturing out in hostile weather can seem less than inviting so one could be forgiven for making like a bear and hibernating during July or escaping to a toasty northern holiday destination. Some may be surprised by number of events happening in June considering the weather but factoring in the Queen’s Birthday long weekend and our love for the arts, my diary is overflowing with things to do. From markets to music festivals, exhibitions to workshops, there is still so much happening in our neck of the woods.
