I’m bored! Two words all parents despise during any school holiday stint. Back in the day, my mum’s solution to this complaint was to make us clean our room – insert exaggerated eye roll here – but there’s a limit to how many times you can use this one before anarchy reigns.
As a mother and a teacher, the holidays always brings about mixed feelings. Yay, I don’t have to go to work + I get to spend more time with my precious three children…for two weeks…in the middle of winter! Yay quickly turns to yikes but, as usual, the Mornington Peninsula comes up with the goods when it comes to keeping the kids entertained in the holidays. Check out some of my favourites from the Peninsula and Bayside that are sure to save you from those two dreaded words.
